Final Fantasy VII Speedrun -

Final Fantasy VII PSX version, played on SCPH-90001 PS2 with Fast Disc Speed and DualShock2 controller. Timing is from selecting New Game to the final hit on Sephiroth. 7min25sec improvement from my previous personal best, almost entirely thanks to much better luck and execution on Disc 1. My Disc 2 execution was pretty poor due to me focusing most of my practice time on Disc 1, so there will be lots of time for me to save there in future runs. Credit to KartSeven for the new Midgar Zolom skip strategy, and XeroKynos for the new Materia Keeper battle strategy. I'm still working on this run and aiming to eventually get under 8 hours - make sure to follow my live stream channel (  / puwexil  ) and Twitter (  / puwexil  ) if you'd like to get notified when I'm speedrunning FF7 and other games! Music is messed up on Disc 3 due to use of the Midgar Skip glitch to trigger the Hojo battle shortly after Diamond Weapon.
