One of the greatest forms of arrogance is denying resurrection. Throughout history, people have rejected the idea that they will be brought back to life after death. They mock it, they question it, and they ask: How can bones that turn to dust be restored? But this denial is not based on reason—it is based on arrogance and heedlessness. The same people who refuse to believe in resurrection accept that the earth brings forth life from barren land. They witness creation all around them, yet they refuse to believe that the One who created them once can do so again. Allah has responded to their doubts in the Quran. In Surah Al-Isra and other parts of the Quran, He challenges those who disbelieve: ❝Does man not remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?❞ (Surah Maryam 19:67) This video by Mufti Menk explores how disbelief in resurrection is not new.
