My review of the HUBSAN GPS X4 STAR H502C The sibling to the HUBSA X4 H502 twins S with FPV and E (Standard TX). H502C will get a twin though when the H507A getting released that will be controlled by our mobilephones. But I am testing all the features of this quad, and I found out that GPS feature, flight and Failsafe features works fine, and spareparts is almost the same as its siblings and great build quality. But its has a Bad altitude hold that take 1 or 2 minutes to stabilize, Camera could be better focused, could land when battery is going to en end and not fall from the sky, shorter chargingtime and maybe possibility to get a longer flight time... AND WHAT ABOUT THIS USB-PORT that not even the manual is mentioning, despite its a good manual. I like the quad, and it do have a gps lock that do work, but to calibrate the compass everytime when you going to fly (wich makes flight time shorter in a sense) is to much. Common you only have to do it if you shall fly on a spot you never flown on before. But sure, it won't fly away that often I guess. So in a sense its there for safetyreason. I bought it on Hobbyequipment in Sweden and it has the same pricing as its Sibbling H502E wich I think is, bad. But the quad isnt bad and should have been priced cheaper that its sibling. Link here: http://www.hobbyequipment.se/dronare/... I think it could be problem for people outside Scandinavia to buy this one though. The said thing is though, that my quad got into an crash reseantly wich broke a motor and the shafts the props are mounted on. So have to replace it. But the quad bode, not a scratch, and it fell from 8 or 10 meters up. So at the moment it do not fly. Only three of four motors work. And I had it for just 2 days. :-( Always bad luck. But It was mostly my fault, I should have landed it quicker than I did, when I saw the LOD flash, I know its short, but sometimes its longer. So LOD in winter time is kinda confusing. Miniaturepicture is take from HUBSAN official site, because youtube didnt do any good takings close to the quad. :-)
