We stopped by one of our favourite businesses in Japan: Sarto, to have a chat with their founder, Dan Seiya, and their Director, Moto Kwok-Fan, about their work. Sarto specializes in high end alterations and they can skillfully do alterations that a typical alterations tailor would decline. The beauty of tailored clothing is that it can be dismantled and reassembled without compromising the quality of the garment. It is a pleasure to have a garment stay with you for many years even as your body or tastes change.
