This course, therefore, will teach you public law and with it, will help you form a deep understanding and an informed interpretation of aspects such as the United Kingdom’s constitution from a legal standpoint. We start with the basics—the kind of constitution the UK has, which institution mainly has legislative authority, the structure of its government and the three main organs of the state: the sovereign Parliament, the executive together with the Crown and the independent judiciary.
