What Is a CCRC?

Most of us have heard of a nursing home or assisted living, but how many of us know what a CCRC is? CCRC stands for Continuing Care Retirement Community and it has a very broad range of residents with needs that range from healthy and independent through to those who need assistance with daily activities and skilled nursing care to memory care and everything else along the continuum of care. Kelly Augspurger spoke to Molly Good, regional marketing director at Otterbein Senior Life, about how to define a CCRC and the types of people who reside within these special communities.
