Hello everyone! Ilocos Sur is indeed a beautiful tourist destination with its preserved heritage sites. While I visited the Baluarte Zoo out of curiosity, having not been there for a decade, I must advise against going. Although it’s interesting to see various animal species, it is disheartening to witness the animals being used for entertainment, such as the lion who is kept chained while people pay to take pictures with it. The video didn’t capture everything, but honestly, it was quite traumatizing to see the abuse and neglect of the animals. You might still enjoy the other nine tourist spots included in our tour package. I also recommend trying the local cafes, as I’m a big fan of them.
