Making a geodesic dome chair for the new deck.

In this episode, I upcycle the deck boards that I removed from the deck when I extended it recently. Karl over at Karl Pope woodcraft recently put out a challenge to make a chair. I thought I could make one using the old deck boards. Make sure you check out all the other entries into the challenge. I decided to make a chair based on a geodesic dome. so I got my plan sorted then started working down the old boards to the size I needed. The chair did not come together as well as I had hoped it would. I think my accuracy needs to be improved a bit to pull everything in a bit tighter. It's actually a really comfortable seat so although I'm not completely happy with how it came out it will get well used in the summer. Disclaimer. this is an entertainment video, not a how-to.
