In this tutorial I’ll explain an excellent way you can use to mark cells that has formula in it. The most important part is that it will automatically highlight cells with formula in the future also. It means you do this one time and until you turn it off it will keep highlighting cells that has formula or functions in it. I’ll be using Conditional Formatting along with the isformula function. Step 1: Select the entire worksheet Step 2: Click on Conditional Formatting. Step 3: Click on New Rule Step 4: Select “Use formula to determine which cells to format” Step 5: Write =IsFormula(A1) in the “Format Values where this formula is True” bar. Step 6: Click Format and select the highlight color. Step 7: Click ok and done. Now you’ll see all the cells that has a formula inside it is highlighted.
