Two Victorian police officers, Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson and Senior Constable Vadim De Waart, have been shot and killed whilst executing a search warrant in Porepunkah. A third officer was wounded and is recovering in hospital after being shot in the thighs. A massive manhunt is underway for 56-year-old gunman Desi Freeman, who remains armed and dangerous in Victoria's north-east.
