here using the HOLT brand brake bleeder from Harbor Freight. This is a VACUUM bleeder, not a PRESSURE bleeder. This works off the venturi effect from compressed air (VENTURI effect is basically when a fluid or gas passes rapidly over an opening, or hole, it causes a vacuum effect in that hole. In this case the hole is attached to an otherwise sealed 4 quart tank... so when the compressed air from your compressor shoots rapidly over the small hole at the top of the tank, it makes vacuum inside the tank, and thus produces suction at the end of the suction tube). It only requires: 0.34 CFM at 90 PSI 60-120 PSI working air pressure air inlet is 1/4" NPT reservoir tank holds 4 quarts refill tank holds 40 OZ vacuum it creates is 25 inHg at 90 PSI This is well made and quite robust, and I expect it will last me my lifetime.
