What begins as a military skirmish rapidly transforms into a claustrophobic descent into the impossible. Ancient markings hint at forbidden knowledge, the air thickens, and the dead begin to stir. Mummies rise as hostile guardians, driven by a deeper force awakening beneath the ruins — turning exploration into a tense fight for survival where every step forward carries risk. “Primal Reign is about throwing players into a familiar war movie fantasy — and then pulling the rug out from under them,” said Graham Jones, Director at The Games Shed. “The demo is designed to feel like you’ve crossed a line you can’t come back from: the battlefield fades away, and suddenly you’re trapped inside something far older, darker, and very much alive.”
