Video: Emil Vinther // emilvinther.com Lights and location: Henrik Wagner Guldager About the video: The title “Cursed” refers to the frustration, lead singer Claus, felt when he returned as a veteran from missions in Afghanistan and Iraq. He felt, that family and friends had a hard time welcoming the “new” Claus, as he returned back home. But the finger is pointed at no one. “It is hard, to get back home. But it is hard, for the people welcoming the returned soldiers, as well,” says Claus. “Cursed is really an attempt to open up: To be honest, and make the people back home, understand why veterans, sometimes behave in odd ways.” The video contains some of Claus’ own footage, and video clips of veterans who served with Claus. “I am not sending this message out on my own behalf, but on on behalf of every soldier who fought, to those who stayed back home. Some veterans struggle when they return. And we have to help them. It is all about listening to the stories they have to tell, at show them, that they are not alone.” SuperScum is currently working on a second release. www.superscum.dk www.targetgroup.dk
