Tollywood actor Tarun Raj, also known as Virat Kondura Raj, has been arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) in connection with the Ranya Rao gold smuggling case. Raj is suspected to be part of a larger smuggling syndicate. The DRI, CBI, and ED are investigating the case. Raj's bail hearing is scheduled in a Bengaluru sessions court.
