Day 17: Flywoo Lens Mod on the O4 Lite(155 FOV) Who Knows!!

Day 17 of learning FPV, and today was all about modding the DJI O4 Lite camera. I picked up the Flywoo lens adapter, the version where you remove the factory lens and replace it with the Flywoo shell. The first attempt did not go well — I ended up damaging the camera daughter board. Thankfully, Flywoo actually sells replacements, so lesson learned (the hard way). The second install went smoothly, almost suspiciously so. It honestly felt like the adhesive on the O4 Lite was different — possibly depending on whether the unit was purchased directly from DJI or through BetaFPV. Same process, very different experience. This was a good reminder that FPV isn’t just flying — it’s also learning how fragile (and fixable) this gear can be. If you’re thinking about doing this mod, hopefully this saves you some pain.
