Chesil Beach, Abbotsbury, Dorset. Fantastic high angle panoramic view shot of the Chesil Beach. Cut to a L/S of the field filled with swan nests with swans on them. This is, voiceover claims, the only natural swannery in the world. L/S of the swans, most of them are sleeping with their necks folded under the wings. L/S of a man walking among the swans. He tries to touch one (or to feed it, unclear) but swan becomes offensive. M/S of the two swans, one on its nest and another standing next to it. A man walks around trying to get admittance to count the eggs. He finally succeeds. As one of the swans moves, the three eggs are seen in the nest. High angle C/U shot of the nest. Swan moves only slightly. C/U shot of the swan sitting next to its nest, looking at the man. C/U shot of the swan's head. L/S of the man trying to make another swan leave its nest but not very successfully. The swan is defending its nest by attacking the man. L/S of the swans in the field.
