If you suffer through this video I apologize for my bad dialogue with all the "ahs and ums" that I uttered. I also apologize for the sniffling as I have chronic sinus problems. Aside from this-- Please watch fabTV's:    • Видео   1965 was a true turning point for color television because from that time forward original color television programming began to outweigh original black and white programming. To me this set represents that turning point and that's one reason I collected it. The other reason that I acquired this set is that I bought my first color television set in 1965 which was an RCA New Vista set with a rectangular tube in it. To me this Zenith set takes me back to that time. This TV works but it definitely needs electronic restoring. I think new electrolytic capacitors will fix a lot of what is wrong with this set. I am not sure what I will do about the CRT bonded cataract. Perhaps I will just leave that as it is. This set might be amongst the several projects I plan to work on through the next winter.
