After I chased CLNA #119 from Washington to Alligoods (the previous video on my channel) I went back to Chocowinity to chase #120 heading back west to Wilson. 120 was long gone when I got there and I didn't get ahead of them until I got to Wilson. Even then, 120 was entering the yard, so it wasn't much of a shot. I hung around for an hour or so till the crew would take the consist west to Zebulon. I'm not sure if the numer was still 120 or it changed west of Wilson. I leapfrogged the westbound run with GP9R 4612 with a nice K3LA horn from Sims to Middlesex, NC. They cut the empty rock hoppers from Morehead City at the quarry just west of Sims. Then coupled back on to the rest of the consist and headed for Zebulon. I waited in Sims for the return trip back to Wilson. GP9R 4630 was leading on the return trip passing through Sims with a nice Southern Railway sounding P5 horn echoing into the night on the former original Norfolk Southern main. Enjoy the video!
