The third video of this All You Can Hear elevator chime compilation series covers #Otis #Elevator Company, the oldest and established elevator manufacturer. They are known to be the most diverse in terms of chimes and bells, and in America is also particularly known for its beep whenever it passes a floor. This video has the sounds ordered in the following: 1. Dinner Bell - Used in really old, vintage or American installations 2. Classic Chime/Bing - Commonly found in newer Otis Lexan, Otis Series 1 and Asian installations (including Otis 3200) 3. Modern Bing - Found in Otis Series 3 installations 4. Japanese Chimes - These chimes appear to be found only in Japanese elevator installations オーチスエレベータ, some of them under the National Otis brand 3. Dinner Bell Chime (also popular in American installations) 4. Pressing the floor buttons (newer installations and modernized elevators only) 5. Dinner Bell (again) - These founds tend to be found in Otis Lexan installations 6. Modern Chime - Found in later Otis 2000, Otis Gen2 and several modernized Otis installations. 7. Budget Bell - Almost always found in Otis Lexan installations 8. Mitsubishi-like bell - Found in Otis 3200 and Singapore HDB installations. Similar to the elevators on Mitsubishi Electric. Arranged in one tone and then two tones. 9. Newer two-tone bells - No particular pattern can be found, but possibly arising from modernization. 10. Floor beeps - Used to indicate that an elevator has passed a floor, usually found in America to satisfy disabled access requirements (for the blind). 11. Door opening/closing beep - Usually found in Singapore and Hong Kong public housing installations, as well as subway stations. This video does not include subsidiary brands, such as GEC Express #Lift and Sigma Elevator Company. Want to ask which elevator parts of the video comes from?
