**NOT FOR BROADCAST** Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. brett@livestormsmedia.com As the major atmospheric river's flooding moves through the Cascades and into the rivers, it's bringing many huge logs with it. In the delta of the Snohomish River, between Everett and Lake Stevens, the river splits into multiple sloughs, including Ebey Slough, on the east side of the valley near Lake Stevens. This slough frequently clogs up with a huge log jam, due to the trestle bridge carrying US-2 across the delta. This means that WSDOT (Washington State Department of Transportation) needs to use heavy equipment to remove logs, preventing damage to the highway infrastructure. That's what is shown in this drone video, which was taken on the evening of Thursday, December 11th, 2025.
