A Dumble-style overdrive circuit is one of my favorites in situations where you're playing dense jazz chords with plenty of gain. This design allows you to blend in your clean sound so you can retain clarity over complex chord voicings, and J Rockett Audio Designs really knocked it out of the park for fusion guitarists with The Dude. In this demo, I'm playing the version 1 but the version 2 is out now. They're very similar - the version 2 has a couple upgrades like silent switching, a more reasonable volume control, and silver knobs, but is essentially the same circuit.
