Red Wine Northern Spain

We set off from Soria having had a really peaceful night parking by the river. Unfortunately we had the rain and cloud whilst driving the scenic route to the Bodega Comarcal in Navarrette. Never a dull moment with other drivers that are on the road but we made the Bodega to purchase the red wine just before it shut. Not sure our Spanish was up the par but we managed to converse and get out booty. From here we headed to Ayegui. The Bodega here as a fountain that dispenses red wine from a fountain for you to try for free. It is a thimble full that is dispensed but it was worth the smallest of sips. It is found next to the huge monastary. There are loads of hiking routes around this area so we stayed an extra night and headed past the town of Estella. Fantastic views from the top of the hill and we were also blessed with seeing many birds of prey flying around. A great walk which finished withe the obligatory beer in the plaza mayor in Estelle. #bodegas #Ayegui #Estella #Navarrette #motorhoming spain #red wine
