On 20 February 2014, during the Canadian women’s gold medal hockey game against the U.S. at the Sochi Olympics, Marie-Philip Poulin scored the tying goal with less than a minute to go. And then she netted the winner in overtime. What’s almost as remarkable is that she had scored both goals in Canada’s 2-0 gold medal triumph over the U.S. at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Marie-Philip Poulin is a true Canadian hockey hero, and Our Golden Girl (Marie-Philip Poulin) heralds her as such. Song credits: Written by Graham Young©2014.
