Modern Taboos + The Wisdom of Crowds In this session, we explore the deep intrinsic aspects of our human nature, and how many of these instincts have become forbidden taboos in modern society: diet, violence, nudity, sexuality, money, drugs, mortality and divinity (inspired by the work of Daniel Vitalis, Arthur Haines and the ReWilding community) We'll continue with a comparison of "The Wisdom of Crowds" versus "The Vision of the Anointed" based on the musings of Tom Naughton, creator of the Fathead film and book series. Information and knowledge comes to us either from the timeless continuum of shared human experience, or from the top-down decrees of experts and agencies. Who should we trust when our lives may hang in the balance?
