Rankings were computed from results of WrestleMania V, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, The Main Event, No Holds Barred, Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME), Survivor Series Showdown, Superstars of Wrestling, Wrestling Challenge including the international version, Prime Time Wrestling, All American Wrestling, matches televised in Italy, France and United Kingdom, matches taped for Coliseum Video tapes, televised house shows at Madison Square Garden (MSG), The Spectrum in Philadelphia, The Boston Garden, Los Angeles Sports Arena, The Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York, and other events.
