There is a significant rainfall threat up in parts of Northern and Far Northern Queensland along with areas closer to Brisbane as heavy rainfall begins developing ahead of a tropical low. Flooding is likely, and a cyclone impact is not off the cards as the system draws closer to Cairns tomorrow. The rainfall extending south into central and southeastern Queensland is a bit more of a wild card, but with each new forecast run looks more and more likely.
