Time to get the boat off Lough Ree, but look at the mooring we found! #18

This is an Irish boating treat across the southern end of Lough Ree and south into the town of Athlone. A beautiful stretch of water and we pass many of the islands on Lough Ree before entering the river stretch. Them we pass under the M6 motorway bridge and pass the Jolly Mariner Marina and some house boats. The final stretches into Athlone town involves us passing beneath the Dublin to Sligo railway bridge. This is a fantastic sight and unusual in that the bridge itself is white in color.
