Making this traditional cookie dough ; bring memories of my Childhood home were my Mom would make this Vanilla Cookies with lard instead of vegetable shortening we called this recipe ( Vanilica) . Ingredients are 4tablespoons Crisco Vegetable shortening ,with 1/1/2 cup sugar. 3 eggs tablespoons of Vanilla Extract ore vanilla bean paste, 1 cup yogurt, 1 tablespoons baking powder pinch salt with 5 cups of all purpose flour using any type of Jams or preserves . Bake at preheated  355° light golden ones they cool off place small teaspoon of jam pres tow cookies together and roll in powder sugar. Stack and serve with cold glass Milk or Tea.
