Instead of going from Parapat through ferry, I be with my driver to drive through an unfinished bridge from the west part of Samosir island. When we pass through a small town named: Sidikalang, I stopped by at a unique religious theme park, Named: Taman Wisata Iman. It's a very interesting place but due to the tight schedule, I have to give up and leave it for my next time visit. Then we went to 2 Batak Village: "Kampung Ulos Huta Raja" and "Huta Siallagan", The Batak unique architecture and Batak traditional weaving craft really impressed me and I'm so happy I had this chance to feel the Batak culture in such a close distance. My Hotel named: Samosir Villas Resort located at Tuk Tuk peninsula and it's a lovely hotel where the ferry can directly pick up customers at hotel to Parapat Port. The next day, I'm board the ferry go to Parapat and had a chance to walk around at Parapat town. There i happen to met a Batak local ceremony for a funeral. I'm very impress that I did not see any excessive sadness or pain at a funeral as expected. Instead, They are singing and dancing and my Indonesia friend told me that Batak people believe this is a a meaningful and respectful way of saying goodbye to their loved one. I really appreciate it. During the stay, I also try a bit the speedboat, I'm a bit nervous, but it's fun. I had a good holiday at Lake Toba, Hope I can vist Lake Toba later this year again!
