Is P2 that difficult in practice?

Pillar 2 is a lot of work. Is it as much and as complicated as its critics claim? Absolutely not. It seems to me that many critics out there have not actually tried to do a Pillar 2 return, or they have a fee-driven incentive, to make it sound much more complicated than it is. But are there not a lot of complicated rules and unclear commentaries? Absolutely, there are. But here is the good news, 80%+ of them will not apply to you, unless you are a flow-through Ultimate Parent, or subject to a deductible dividend regime, or you have PE's, 50:50 JVs, Minority Owned Entities where you hold 30% or less and still have control, etc. Am I oversimplifying things?
