The IEEE 39-bus system is well known as 10 machines New-England Power System. In addition, it is a well-known test system and is included in the "IEEE Benchmark Systems for Small-Signal Stability Analysis and Control". Consequently, it is a perfect testbench for many applications in the area of wide-area protection and control (WAMPAC). This test system has been implemented many times before in Simulink and RT-LAB. However, the challenge is to run this relative size model in real-time using four-core processors. We will present the subsystem division and full implementation details in the coming videos. Thanks to Jose Miguel Riquelme for the first step here. This short video (perhaps boring) shows the success of building, loading and running the model. The video has been accelerated for some time constraints!
