In my 1st video about how to get free food in UK, I had a 3 course vegetarian meal at ​⁠​⁠​⁠‪@foodcyclemeals‬ I eat at soup kitchens which cook free meals from donated unsold food from supermarkets. They give out free surplus fruit & veg to take “home”, like a foodbank. Starter was cauliflower soup, main course spaghetti & salad, pudding banana cake, cooked apples and figs. I got seconds of tsoup and spaghetti and asked a volunteer to put the pudding in a container so I could have it for breakfast. As well as a free 3 course meal, Foodcycle give out free surplus food to take “home”. I’m homeless so took food that doesn’t need cooking. I got a spaghetti takeaway and a chives for tomorrow’s lunch which I’ll eat cold. A second banana cake and cooked apples and figs pudding and bananas and a nectarine for breakfast for the next 2 days. I also got lemons and limes to make a dressing for salad, hopefully I’ll find some salad and tomatoes at another soup kitchen soon. Homeless healthy eating.
