Tips for staying safe on the bus: Plan your journey ahead Check your timetable on the bus stop, or on your phone Put your arm out when the bus it coming to ask it to stop You and your carer might be allowed a free bus pass. Check with the council. Keep your bag safely with you. Don't put your bag on the floor - it could trip people. Sit near the driver. Press the button before your stop. Wait for the bus to stop before you stand up. Remember your bag.
