Francisco, João, and José Gil are respectively the sons and grandsons of the legendary Gilberto Gil. Following a strong run of releases, with several hit tunes, the band released their Latin Grammy-nominated debut album in 2022, "Pra Gente Acordar." Buoyed beyond Brazil by ardent followings on Youtube and Tiktok, the group made their US debut tour in 2024 - this concert is part of a follow up tour to that successful introduction. This video captures the enchanting sounds of the night. The band beautifully blends pop rock, samba, rap and Bahian rhythms, but especially draws inspiration from the classic MPB sound that is their - and Brazil's - musical heritage.
