Recipe: http://bit.ly/2bwLApo The easiest way to make your raw truffles is by using shredded coconut and dates. These 2 ingredients are enough for your delicious treats. However, I decided to add some nuts to mine, but still without using a food processor to grind them. I just put them in a plastic bag and crushed them on a chopping board and pressed them with some heavy object. Don’t use anything made of glass or clay that can break and hurt you. You can press the nuts with a baking tray or crush them with a wooden mallet or something like that. You can add cinnamon, cocoa or cacao powder, as well as some peanut butter or tahini to make the mixture smoother. Ingredients: • ½ cup of dates • 2/3 cup of shredded coconut and/or crushed nuts • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter or tahini – optional • Cocoa or cacao powder – optional • Cinnamon – optional Directions: Soak your dates in drinking water for a few hours. Take them out of the water and mash them with a fork. Add peanut butter or tahini, cocoa or cacao powder and cinnamon, and mix everything well. Add the shredded coconut and the crushed nuts and mix again. Make small balls out of the mixture and roll them in some shredded coconut. If the mixture is too sticky, wet your hands with clean water. You can decorate the truffles with some whole nuts if you want. Put them in the fridge for a few hours to harden a bit. The more they stay in the refrigerator, the tastier they are. This helps all the flavors and tastes to combine well. My blog: http://www.myhealthydessert.com/ Instagram: http://bit.ly/2behJy9 Facebook: http://bit.ly/2aQpqhV
