Seattle Mariners and T-Mobile Park are ready for Opening Day 2025

It's that time of the year! With the arrival of spring and high expectations for the Mariners, fans will be flocking to T-Mobile Park to watch the city's beloved baseball team play. Mariners opening day will start at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday. The Mariners announced electric starter Logan Gilbert will pitch the first game of the season. The team also announced their 26-man Opening Day roster Thursday morning with not too many surprises. Familiar faces like Julio Rodríguez, Cal Raleigh, J.P. Crawford, Bryan Woo, and Bryce Miller will bring fans to their feet. Gates to the T-Mobile 'Pen, including the gate in centerfield and the T-Mobile Member Gate, will open two hours before first pitch. All other gates open 90 minutes before game time. With a 7:10 p.m. start time, fans will be able to enter for Opening Day at 5:10 p.m. and 5:40 p.m., respectively. To kick off the year, the team will follow tradition and introduce the entire 2025 Mariners roster before the game. Then, newly-elected Hall of Famer and franchise legend Ichiro Suzuki will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The Mariners will then honor Dylan Moore with his 2024 Gold Glove Award and Cal Raleigh with his 2024 Platinum Glove Award. The Platinum Glove Award is awarded to the best overall fielder for the entire season. Seattle band The Head and the Heart will perform the National Anthem, and the U.S. Navy will complete a flyover. The team will also honor the late Hall of Famer and former Mariner Rickey Henderson before the game starts. All fans will take home a magnetic schedule in the first Mariners promotional giveaway of the year.
