Animals in laboratories are very much forgotten about because they are hidden away from public sight, and we tend only to see their suffering in undercover footage. Anna talks here about the event NEAR did for World Animals in Labs day in April, but we are posting this today as there is also a National Day of Action with events around the country close to Universities who have appalling records on vivisection. If you are a student applying to go to a university check out their animal testing records and prepare to be shocked at the scale, the banality of these experiments and the money both universities and companies make from their barbaric treatment of innocent animals. Animals whose bodies bear no resemblance to ours, but who have the same sentience - capacity to feel pain, fear and love.
