It applies to all public transport: surface, underground, ferries and funiculars. You can get to the city center by metro both from Istanbul International Airport (“New Airport”) and from Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Taxis can be called through Uber. 🍽️Names of cafes and restaurants from the video: • Turkish restaurant Ortaklar Kebap Lahmacun • 360 Kule in Çamlıca Tower • Cafe Hafız Mustafa 1864 Tourists most often try balyk-ekmek (fish in bread) in restaurants near the Galata Bridge. Chestnuts, roasted corn, simits can be bought in any tourist place. 🕌 Ticket prices to the main museums of Istanbul in 2024: • Topkapi with harem inspection – $50 • Dolmabahce – $35 • Galata Tower – $22 I recommend visiting the Çamlıca Tower (the highest observation deck in Istanbul). The most convenient way to get there is by taxi from the ferry pier in Usküdar. Another place is Istiklal Street with a retro tram. In one of the courtyards there is the Catholic Church of St. Anthony of Padua. It's also worth a trip to Galataport - there are good shops, restaurants and a New Year's atmosphere in December. Mosques that are definitely worth seeing in Istanbul: Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque), Hagia Sophia, Suleymaniye, Ortakoy. It is also worth taking a walk along Istiklal Street and visiting Galataport.
