As a cyclist I found myself with a bunch of old, seemingly useless flat inner bike tire tubes laying around and I figured I would try and find a way to use them in some of my filmmaking and DIY projects. Use 1: A replacement rubber grip for tripod quick release plates Use 2: To get a better grip when unscrewing / grabbing something Use 3: Use small pieces as little bitty bungee cords Use 4: Use larger segments as full size bungee cords So the next time you get a flat tire be sure to save that old tube, and if you’re not a cyclist just contact your local cycling shop and see if they have a couple old tubes they would be willing to give you (I've done this multiple times).
