Gossamer Gear G4-20 Ultralight Backpack Review - I almost sent it back! This pack rides so differently was unsure it would work for me, but after my first backpacking trip I love it. The G4-20 is an ultralight, frameless backpack that weighs only 25 ounces (1 pound 9 ounces). It is a very room 42 liter with a roll top that cinches down to fit your load. The shoulder straps are extremely comfortable, and the hip belt is well padded and features two large zipper pockets. A foam pad acts as the back rest and "frame", which is removable to use as a seat during breaks or at camp. The side pockets are the perfect size and reachable with the pack on. A very large exterior front pocket is perfect for wet/stinky gear, water bottles or just for the extra space.
