‘Within days society begins to fail’: Uhlmann warns of the stark reality without fuel

Sky News Political Contributor Chris Uhlmann explains the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on Australian society. “This latest Gulf war is a lesson in how the world really works and what fuels it runs on,” Mr Uhlmann told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio. “Most goods travel by diesel-powered trucks; diesel also drives agriculture and mining, without it, Australia stops. “Within days of the Trucks stopping, society would begin to fail. “Where are not there yet, but we are profoundly exposed.”
