In the last lecture given by Swami Akash during Navaratri about the Sikh Gurus, we got a closer look at the life of Guru Gobind Singh, another Sikh Guru whom Paramahamsa Vishwananda praises and tells the stories written in the Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Gobind Singh was the tenth and final Sikh Guru, a spiritual leader, warrior, and poet. He is best known for founding the Khalsa in 1699, a collective body of initiated Sikhs, and for promoting equality, justice, and selflessness. He led the Sikhs in their struggle against Mughal oppression and persecution. About the teacher: Swami Vishwaakashananda met Paramahamsa Vishwananda in 2016 and in 2022 he was initiated as one of the twelve appointed swamis of Bhakti Marga. Born in Italy, Swami Akash has a university background in western philosophy, which when married to the extensive training he has received under Paramahamsa Vishwananda, makes him a highly qualified teacher.
