In the first "How-to" video I made, I showed how to make flat top 3" swimbaits using a plastic tray and plaster of paris. In this video, I show how to make 2-piece molds for full-body plastic fishing lures. Due to these molds having 2 parts, it takes 2x as long to create the molds. That said, it is still super fast and easy at only about 5-7 minutes of actual working time. Materials for making the plaster mold. https://amzn.to/3FYUmZQ - DAP Plaster of Paris https://amzn.to/40oBCLz - Perfect Cast Plaster (5x stronger than plaster) For the products I use and recommend, visit our new Storefront on our website at: https://startfishingtoday.com/storefront For all your DIY fishing projects, replacement hooks, and so much more, check out Barlow's Tackle: http://www.barlowstackle.com?afmc=STARTFISHINGTODAY Each time a purchase is made using code startfishingtoday at checkout, we receive a credit which really helps us continue generating quality content for our viewers 👍. This allows the air bubble to escape and creates a perfect tail. Without the vent hole, the tail was not perfect 100% of the pours.
