Make your mudroom beautiful with a feature ceiling you can DIY in a day for less than $20! No joke, this beautiful baltic birch plywood from @bairdbrothers in Canfield, OH only cost me $15 for a 60"x60" piece that was 1/8" thick. A single tube of liquid nails would be plenty strong enough to hold these if you are patient enough to hold each piece for a minute to make sure it stuck. I wasn't patient enough so I also put some 23g pin nails in it to hold it while the liquid nails took effect but I am certain this step isn't necessary. If you can manage to borrow tools, this is an extremely budget-friendly way to turn your boring old white ceiling into an artistic focal point. Besides, more fun on the ceiling pulls the eyes upward and away from the inevitable mess on the mudroom floor! :) My mudroom is 4'x5' for reference.
