Conor CC announces his second outing on his own imprint, Origin CC, with “Air|Spin” — a two-tracker that drifts through desolate spaces and rugged terrain, channelling the eerie quiet of places once charged with significance. The EP opens with “Air”, a 120 BPM trotter that moves with a hazy, suspended quality — like a visible mass slowly descending before hanging weightlessly in place. Beneath its nebulous drift lies a pulsing low-end that grounds the track without disturbing its delicacy. As “Air” unfolds, its pads widen, scattered vocal fragments surface, and broken, jungle-leaning percussion subtly shifts the centre of gravity before the track exhales into its closing moments. The second track “Flux” emerges — a short, transitional interlude designed to realign the listener’s focus and tilt the EP’s energy toward its final destination. “Spin” picks up with a spirited jolt: chopped vocals, metallic stabs, and ambient drones circling before dropping into the track’s core.
