Escape to Perast, Montenegro: The Ultimate Day Trip from Kotor

To many, Perast may be a secondary thought on their trip to Kotor, Montenegro - this was the case in our trip. We learned through our day trip that this wonderful town should be considered much more than just another day trip. We left wishing we could have stayed longer. But what makes it so great? For one, the town sits on an absolutely stunning coastline on the Bay of Kotor and looks out on a couple small islands. These islands are what many come to the town to see, and we don't blame them! Our Lady of the Rocks (one of the two islands) has a church that was built on it, and taking a boat to see it up close is an unforgettable trip! The entire town, like Kotor, is surrounded by gorgeous mountains and amazingly blue water making for great views all around. Perast is also known for their torta which we of course had to try and, after doing so, can confirm that it's delicious! This little town really has a ton packed into it, and we hope you enjoy exploring it with us!
