Lufthansa Airbus A319 Coastal Approach and Landing at Cork from Frankfurt

(4K, 2025) Lufthansa Airbus A319 (D-AIBG) approach and landing on Runway 14 at Cork, Ireland, operating flight LH984 from Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on Easter Monday, April 2025. For the month of April, instead of the usual CityJet or Lufthansa CRJ aircraft, Lufthansa operated their Airbus A319 aircraft on the Cork - Frankfurt route, and I was eager to try this out - so at short notice, I booked this flight and made a one-night trip! This video starts with a really nice view of some of the small islands off of the Welsh coast as we headed west from the UK, in-particular Ramsey Island. The trip ends then with a beautiful approach to Runway 34 at Cork, coming in over the South coast with views of the Old Head of Kinsale, and Kinsale itself from the left-hand side of the aircraft. Always a treat to be welcomed home by lovely green Irish countryside under blue skies! To end this - since the start of May, the Cork - Frankfurt route so far this year has been exclusively served by CityJet CRJ-1000 and CRJ-900 aircraft.
