In this video we will explore the advantages and disadvantages, compare them to holtite sockets, explore a printed circuit board for mini mechanical keyboard designed with the free and open source CAD software KiCad. Furthermore I will demonstrate hand soldering of Kailh hot-swappable sockets on a prototype board with XIAO module and Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller manufactured by PCBWay.
