To try to bring viewers something different myself and Kris went to a wild part of Pembrokeshire to catch some trout to make a meal with some really clean top quality mussels .We found literally acres of wild garlic along with other wild plants. The downside was that I only caught 1 trout of a keepable size,but around 40 smaller ones-but that's fishing. The tidal forecast was for a really low spring tide,however the 22 MPH southerly wind prevented the tide from receding as forecast,therefore we could not get to forage where we wanted and the wind made filming impossible,because on the noise issues,but we managed to cook a nice meal of mussels followed by our only trout.
