Detach and delete overlapping CAD splines using Scribe

The Scribe plugin is designed to work with shapes and splines. In this video, we inspect the imported CAD drawing to check for overlapping splines. By selecting either the Delete Overlapping or in this case Detaching Overlapping Scribe works through the scene and finds and removes every overlap. It will repair the spline to ensure no holes are left, ie if two splines overlap in the middle it will extend one spline to equal to the total length of both. By using Detach you get the opportunity to review the splines before manually deleting them. Selecting Delete will automatically delete them. Available for 3ds Max 2015 - 2022.
